VAT on the right account, by BAS
Each voucher is booked with VAT on the right account according to your BAS chart of accounts. Cost centre (kostnadsställe) and project follow every line.
Connectify connects the system you sell with to Fortnox. Your sales arrive as finished vouchers: checked before booking, traceable afterwards and never booked twice. Nobody keys anything in.
Today the connection does the bookkeeping: sales vouchers from your POS system, web shop or business system are booked as vouchers (verifikationer) in Fortnox. Invoicing and the customer ledger stay as you run them in Fortnox today.

Accounts, VAT rates and dimensions are checked against your Fortnox first. If something is missing, the delivery stops before anything is booked – with one plain-language list of what to fix.
What has already been delivered is recognised and never sent again – even if the same delivery is sent several times, or a transfer was interrupted halfway.
Every delivery is documented step by step: what came in, what was sent to Fortnox and what Fortnox answered. When the accountant or the auditor asks where a voucher came from, the answer is in one place.
The connection uses Fortnox's own interface for integrations. Three things need to be in place on your side:
Connectify sends your Fortnox system administrator a link. The administrator signs in to Fortnox and approves the connection once – that is the whole setup on the Fortnox side. Connectify never asks for your Fortnox password.
A delivery that cannot be booked stops before anything reaches Fortnox, and the people responsible for the connection are told. Most questions are answered fastest here:
Your accountant – or whoever set up the connection – sees every delivery and the reason it stopped, and usually fixes it there and then: a missing account, a VAT code, a cost centre.
For customers and partners with a connection in operation. Tell us which company it concerns and roughly when it stopped, and we take it from there.
The portal is for those who have been given a user – typically the accountant and the person responsible at the business. It shows every delivery, its status and exactly what was sent to Fortnox.
Tell us which POS system, web shop or business system you sell with, and we will tell you how it connects to Fortnox – and what the first delivery looks like.
